salvage cafe hove review

After wandering past Salvage on the Hove end of Western Road many times, we finally stepped in for brunch.

This heatwave seems to be going on forever, so it seemed wrong to sit anywhere but outside.

With the sun beaming down on us, we ordered two juices, two americanos and two salmon dishes (did you know they’re strictly pescatarian?), and giggled in delight at the bubbles (though a couple did make it into our food, ahh!).

Interior-wise, it’s about as Brighton as you can get, and somewhat resembles a flea market. Yet with flawless hospitality, we thought it felt like home. Thanks for having us, Salvage Cafe, we’ll be back soon!

Go there for...

Quirky charm, its prime people-watching prowess and the friendliest staff (oh, and of course the bubbles)
