moksha brighton brunch review

Have you ever been to Moksha Caffe on York Place? This bustling cafe is absolutely rammo on the weekends, and with good reason: have you seen their Huevos Rancheros (a sort of open breakfast burrito)?!

I’m ashamed to say the portion size absolutely beat me and I had to get friends to help me finish the last third – but it was so delicious I didn’t want to share!

I’m told the full English (also pictured) is pretty solid too, and can personally vouch for the coffees and juices (and the service was fabulous – impressive as there can’t have been more than five waiters on shift in a 50+ cover cafe).

Ranked one of our faves in the city, hands down.

Ranked one of our faves in the city, hands down.

On our plate:

Huevos rancheros – Crisp tortilla base with free-range chorizo sausage & a black bean, sweetcorn and chipotle sauce, topped with melted cheese, free-range eggs and an avocado tomato salsa – £12

moksha caffe brighton - brunch take on huevos rancheros
moksha caffe brighton - full english

Moksha Breakfast – Free range award-winning Sussex Cumberland sausage, free-range bacon, free-range eggs, grilled flat mushroom, grilled beef tomato,  homemade beans & toasted sourdough – £10.50

Why it's amazing

Moksha is huge, covering two shop fronts on York Place, meaning you’ll never be short of somewhere to sit. It’s also a great spot for families, with plenty of choice on the menu and generous helpings – something we can definitely get on board with!
